Historic images of Caernarvonshire railways, including stations, goods yards, signal boxes, locomotive depots, viaducts and general railway scenes, railway staff and rolling stock. This gallery also includes images of the narrow gauge lines of this part of North Wales, including the Festiniog Railway, the Padarn Railway and the Welsh Highland Railway. Two tramways are also covered, the horse drawn tramway running from Pwllheli to Llanbedrog Head and the electric Great Orme Tramway at Llandudno. Please note that spellings used (Caernarvon, Festiniog, etc) are concurrent with the spellings in use at the date of most of these images.
